I had to lurk around in town for a while last night so nipped into Borders for a spot of light reading. I read an article in Web Designer mag about the current progress involving the development of HTML 5.

Now I never knew this but HTML was actually developed at CERN (The Centre Européen de Recherche Nucléaire) which has been in the news recently due to the Large Hadron Collider. It was created by Tim Berners-Lee, it's purpose was to allow researchers to share information.
