I've been doing a bit of cross platform research & testing today. I've found some sites which are pretty good at generating screen grabs of different browsers and as I'm aiming towards been able to produce CSS standards compliant sites I'm finding out which browsers have the biggest problems. Looks Like IE pre version 7 is gonna be my major issue when generating CSS or PNG based designs.

Not sure how to work around these issues yet, am looking in to browser market shares at the moment. First thought is to start looking to incorporate some type of javascript browser checker into the pages?

Anyhow as this article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_web_browsers) says IE have 74% share of the market so the majority of the viewers are (if running older versions than 7) using the crappiest browser just because it's the most readily available & widely marketed.

Now I'm wondering if this says something about our society?
