Not had time to write much on here for a while was going to post about the personal development presentation. The pres was OK but I still think the brief in general was pretty weak. I can see the use of the blogging side and the purpose of students familiarizing themselves with companies they want to work for but I still feel the collecting of contacts benefits the College more than the students. For me it was more of a waste of time as I not looking for companies to work for.

Adding to this there is the fact that if a student actually wants to work in industry then they will have to show some initiative and drive interdependently, a spoon-fed graduate ain't gonna impress nobody.

The most useful aspect of the brief was to encourage students to prepare a show reel or other promotional bumf however even here the brief was floored as the deadline should really be at the end of the year when the major project has been completed and there is more to show.
