Sk-etchbook

Got settled into my new home over xmas and had a more thorough read through the course guide. Wasn't previously aware there was a list of course related "essential" reading.
Got two books out from the library when we got back from the xmas brake. Animation Unlimited is good, it includes some very artistic, expressive, creative and provocative animations. It caused me to rethink my approach to the Relationships brief. Im still working my way through the second book, Visual Research. It contains some extremely good examples of visual communication and also explains the design process and importance of appropriate visuals. I found this book reassuring because it stresses how you don't need amazingly intricate designs to produce effective works.
