I just received an email from Microsoft. Apparently I'm a "valued partner in the webmaster and search community". Not sure where I signed up for that but never mind it's not the issue at the moment. What I did want to say was this is the logo for their new search engine Bing.

One thing to say about it. Errrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

I mean who chose it? When I look at it I think bank, insurance company or SAGA. I would also say whoever chose it has Google on the back of the mind, I can see the influence.

Can't see the name catching on either. Google's popularity rose it to verb status, Google it is a commonly said phrase now.

Bing it! That just sounds like a takeaway.
