On the web it's always at a premium.

So how do you show many big things in a small spaces? Furthermore how do you do this in a seamless way which is fast and avoids redirections or page reloads/refreshes.

Flash? A very good idea but it does decrese the all browser, all platform compatibility factor. Javascript then is looking like the way forward.

I've been looking at some of the off-ther-shelf options available for displaying images, specifically using Lightbox effects.
