We recently received the brief for the Professional Practice module. We have to complete a competition brief for either the D&AD awards or the YCN. Not really thrilled by the opportunity to develop my necessary skill set. There were 10 briefs to choose from I read through them and narrowed the options down to the ones which would aid my development. They were 3 interactive options which were probably the most relevant to me, nothing particularly exciting however potentially productive. Unfortunately nobody else was doing any of these briefs and we need to work in groups so I had to choose another one. I found the Black Hole animation brief the most interesting on a personal level however I went with a Brief to produce a viral advertisement for Feel Good drinks. This was the only option available where I can work on improving my technical ability and creating something involving aesthetics, interactivity and dynamic content.
